I'm finally back in Lausanne again after traveling first to Paris and then to Edinburgh last week for my ICP. In Edinburgh we met with another patient group and gawked at the thousands of people who were in town for the Fringe festival. The city was teeming with people and the atmosphere was very jovial. My ICP project is the pharmaceutical company Celgene, which specializes in drugs for blood cancers, and we have been given the task of exploring how they can become more involved in social media. As part of our research we need to meet with different groups to learn about the patients and their needs, so our first stop was to Paris. With the ICP Project officially starting on Monday, the weekend – for me – was all about catching up with my IMD friends before we depart to different countries for our projects. The locations include Brazil, China, Mexico, Finland, the UK….
